On July 29, 2021, Amazon reported its second quarter results for 2021. The results, although positive, were below guidance and analysts’ expectations. For the second quarter, net sales expanded by 27% to $113.1bn, whereby changes in foreign currency exchange rates impacted Amazon’s net sales by $2.5bn.
