Issuance of Malta Government Stocks

The Treasury this morning announced the issue of the following fixed rate Malta Government Stocks.

• 3.75% MGS 2017 (IV) Fungible Issue at Euro 105.00 – YTM of 2.633% which corresponds to an annualised rate of 2.651%

• 4.3% MGS 2022 (II) Fungible Issue at Euro 102.50 – YTM of 3.982% which corresponds to an annualised rate of 4.022%

• 4.8% MGS 2028 (I) at Euro 100.75 – YTM of 4.732% which corresponds to an annualised rate of 4.788%.

Applications by single and/or joint applicants which do not exceed Euro 100,000 will open on Monday 29th October 2012 and close at 5pm on Wednesday 31st October 2012.

The general public can apply for these new issues in multiples of Eur100 up to a maximum of EUR100,000 per application.
