With reference to the press release issued last Thursday, the Treasury is pleased to announce the allotment policy to be applied for applications received by the members of the public as provided for under paragraph 4 (c) of the Prospectus issued on the 13th February 2015. The Treasury already announced that it shall be exercising the over-allotment option of Euro 60 million such that the aggregate amount to be allotted shall be Euro 180 million. The allotment in the latest issue of Malta Government Stocks among the members of the public shall be as follows:

MGS 2% 2020 (V) Fungibility Issue

44 applications subscribed in the 2% MGS 2020 (V) FI having a nominal value of Euro 6,011,300 will be accepted in full.

MGS 3% 2040 (I)

The remaining balance available for allocation will be allotted from the nominal amount of Euro 437,129,500 of applications received in the 3% MGS 2040 (I) as follows:

• Applications up to and including Euro 10,000 in nominal terms (including those applications submitted by each applicant under the nominee system) shall be met in full;

• Applications in excess of Euro 10,000 in nominal terms (including those applications submitted by each applicant under the nominee system) shall receive a minimum of Euro 10,000 per applicant plus an additional 12% of the remaining unallocated balance per applicant rounded up to the nearest Euro 100.

As stipulated in the prospectus, interest on these Malta Government Stocks commenced accruing as from 2nd March 2015.

Refunds of unallocated monies will be effected before the issue of relevant Registration Advice from the Malta Stock Exchange and will be paid by credit transfer through the SEPA scheme in the IBAN indicated in the respective application form for the payment of interest.

In view of the administrative process linked to the publication of final results the actual number of applications accepted and the actual nominal amount allocated will be communicated by a press release in due course.

No interest shall be due on refunds or other amount pending allotment.
